Note: The following commentary originally appeared in The Weekly Press, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Volume 31, Number 21; July 1, 2004; page 10. America suffers from the highest unemployment rate in more than 9 years and the worst economic record since the Great Depression. This condition is not accidental. The richest 10% of the people own, control and consume 70% of the wealth. The remaining 90% of the People, who create virtually all of that wealth, live on just 30%. Working families labor under a system of public laws largely built, not just without their permission, but also without their knowledge. Voters have not had a real political choice in many years. People are in debt personally because they are attempting to achieve a lifestyle they know they deserve, are capable of, and expected to have by now. The villain is a debt structure built by a rich, politically powerful elite in control of the Nation’s Monetary System, an elite few who cannot be criticized by government officials intending to keep their jobs. And yet America’s Monetary System is a true Public Utility, not just in its operation but also in its ownership. It belongs to the American People. Now if you own America’s Monetary System, why aren’t you getting your fair share of those Trillions of Dollars its operation generates? The answer is simple. Your Monetary Rights were stolen by politically powerful insiders who claim they are working for you and operating the Nation’s Monetary System for your benefit. We have become a Nation of indentured servants suffering under never ending personal, business and government debt, the modern form of slavery. Dr. Harvey F. Barnard, a local resident, is the author of The National Economic Stabilization and Recovery Act, NESARA, a Bill written for Congress to reduce this problem. NESARA provides over 5 Trillion Dollars in debt restructuring to America’s Homeowners through their existing bank home mortgage loans. A typical Homeowner will save about 100 Thousand Dollars on their 30 year home mortgage and will pay it off in approximately 20 years, not 30. Best of all, NESARA applies retroactively to all existing secured bank mortgages. The American People really do own the Nation’s Monetary System and it is their labor that supports it. You can get your fair share, but only if you know that it exists and demand it. A Politically Powerful Washington Elite will never hand it to you on a silver platter. Dr. Harvey Barnard |
